Amy Tansley has worked in Marketing & Communications industry for over 9 years.
Completing a Bachelor of Arts at Melbourne University in 1997 and then a post-graduate in Public Relations at RMIT in 1999, Amy began her professional career working for Oakley Sunglasses in an Apparel Brand Management capacity.
With overseas travel being a major part of this role, Amy discovered how to integrate International trends and attitudes to create and re-position brands here in Australia.
With a lifestyle / fashion focus, Amy moved into a Senior Consultant role within a dynamic Melbourne PR Agency, Greta Donaldson Publicity, where she worked across major brands such as Giorgio Armani, Red Bull Australia, Playgro Pty Ltd & Buena Vista Home Entertainment whilst engaging all media mediums - nationally.
Pru Murphy has worked in the retail marketing & PR industry for over 9 years.
Completing a Bachelor of Media & Communications majoring in Marketing at Swinburne University - Hawthorn in 1999, she then began working for the Sportsgirl brand in 2000 and worked for over 6 years in achieving successful results using the marketing mix of on going PR, Promotions, Events, Brand synergies and effective communication with all stakeholders.
Her two roles at Sportsgirl included - National PR & Communications Manager and finally National Brand Manager to over 105 Sportsgirl stores. Pru has seen how to strategically build brands and more importantly how to keep them at the top in this fast paced retail environment. Pru has also worked extensively with all national media and has an excellent relationship with all magazines, print, radio and web media.
Pru then moved on to Melbourne Central, where she became Senior Marketing Manager. This role included creating a total marketing calendar for the center and smaller marketing initiatives for over 310 brands. During her stint with GPT, she implemented a very successful event for ON3, media schedule for the centre, new campaigns and strong activities for the Xmas period.
Both birds are now settled in Melbourne and Directors of Two Birds Talking located at Studio 3 /40 Green St, Prahran.
